Happy Birthday

Welcome a New Baby to Our Community

Our May 2016 Happy Birthday Campaign generated so many joyful messages to new mothers at MLKCH that we’re keeping it running. It’s an easy way for you to participate in helping grow a healthy South Los Angeles.

Make it a Happy Birthday

Each time a baby is born at the new Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, we play “Happy Birthday” over the hospital’s intercom. In that moment, everyone stops to celebrate our community’s newest arrival. The welcoming music reminds us of how much it means for new parents to have our hospital nearby. For the first time since 2007, new moms in South LA are able to give birth close to home, friends, and family.

Now you can be part of our welcoming tradition by sending a birthday card to our MLKCH newborns.

Enter your message and we’ll print and deliver your greeting card to a new mother who has delivered at the new Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital. It’s a simple—but meaningful—way to show your support for families in South LA, and a wonderful way to welcome LA’s newest residents.

Your full name will not appear on the birthday card. We will not share your name or email address with any outside parties. Thank you!
